Zinedine Zidane: Returning Real Madrid manager 'counting' on Gareth Bale

Zinedine Zidane has said he would love to coach Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe one day.

And a major squad overhaul looks on the cards now Zidane has made a decision to return to the struggling Spanish outfit.

"I'm not going to talk about a player that isn't mine", Zidane explained.

The Frenchman returned to the club earlier this week to replace sacked boss Santiago Solari, ending speculation that Mourinho could be heading for a second spell in charge at the Bernabeu.

With Zidane already established as an icon in Madrid, Isco believes the 46-year-old deserves even more recognition for pledging to rebuild the golden empire which has collapsed in his absence.

"Why would they need to give me an explanation?", Mourinho responded to a question if Real Madrid offered him an explanation after missing the managerial role.

"They should not think I am looking at who will go, who will stay", he said.

"There are 11 games left and what we want is to finish well".

But the issue is that James appears to be a similar player to Mesut Ozil - who Emery has failed to regularly get the best out of. "He's ready to play tomorrow".

"But now is not about that - the important thing is I am back". Enrique has given first call-ups to Getafe forward Jaime Mata, Real Betis midfielder Sergio Canales, Sevilla defender Sergi Gomez and Napoli's Fabian Ruiz.
