Nintendo is launching a pair of games featuring two of their most beloved characters this coming March, per a report from Business Wire. The game has you play as Mario's favorite green dinosaur, who's tasked with exploring a big world that's made from household items like boxes and paper cups, with stages loaded up with puzzles and hidden treasures.
The former, as revealed past year, is an entirely new game for the Nintendo Switch, while the latter is a remake of Kirby's Epic Yarn, which launch on Wii way back in 2010. On the flip side, stages can be played backward, providing new perspectives to explore and the challenge to find Poochy-Pups that are hiding around the course.
If you're a fan of Yoshi and Kirby you are going to love the month of March.
Elsewhere, the page confirms that the game supports handheld, docked, and tabletop modes as you might expect, as well the Pro Controller, play for up to two players, and save data cloud functionality.
However, if you're jonesing for Nintendo's next original platformer, one that's built exclusively for the Switch, you won't have to wait much longer - the big N has announced that Yoshi's Crafted World will arrive on the handheld/home console hybrid on March 29, 2019.
In addition to the release date, Nintendo provided a Yoshi's Crafted World trailer.
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, on the other hand, is an enhanced 3DS version of the 2010 Wii game Kirby's Epic Yarn. Top it all off with amiibo compatibility that gives Kirby new hats and abilities, and there's quite a bit "Extra" indeed!
