Trump Lawyer Set $130000 Hush-Money Payout to Porn Star, WSJ Reports

U.S. President Donald Trump paid a former adult film star $130,000 so that she keeps quiet about a short-lived affair the two had in 2006, the Wall Street Journal claimed in a report released Friday.

The settlement was organized by Michael Cohen, one of the Trump Organization's top attorneys, who reportedly negotiated the payment after a nondisclosure agreement had been signed.

The sources claim that Daniels says the encounter occurred when she and Trump attended a July 2006 celebrity golf tournament on Lake Tahoe.

In statements sent to The Wall Street Journal, both the White House and Cohen strongly denied any sexual incident between Trump and Clifford, but made no reference to a payment to the actress, whose stage name is Stormy Daniels.

He also hit out at the Wall Street Journal's "outlandish allegations" against Mr Trump and said the paper had been trying to "perpetuate" a "false narrative". The report said that she eventually got the payment through her lawyer Keith Davidson, and that funds were transferred to a client-trust account at City National Bank in Los Angeles. The Journal did not confirm whether Trump knew about an agreement with or payment to Clifford. A popular and successful adult film star, Daniels retired from the screen in 2016.

Clifford's lawyer told the outlet he couldn't comment because of attorney-client privilege.

Trump has denied all inappropriate seuxal conduct with women.

Clifford also said in a statement: 'Rumors that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false'. Trump has repeatedly denied the women's stories, and the White House has said all of the president's accusers are lying.

Michael Mosny, who also works in the adult film industry and who later became Clifford's second husband, told the Smoking Gun that she had dinner with Trump one night with Roethlisberger.

Maybe Trump wasn't thinking that weekend of a political future, or of what his wife or anyone else would think, but he had no problem being photographed with Clifford.

The same month the deal was cut, the Washington Post published the infamous "Access Hollywood" video, in which Trump boasts about groping women, saying he could "grab them by the p-y".

"His words and actions are a huge testament to his character - that of uncontrollable misogyny, entitlement, and being a sexual assault apologist", Drake said at an October 2016 press conference with her attorney Gloria Allred.
