The ‘5,000-1’ walk: Leicester City fans honor owner & helicopter crash victims

Fans observe a minute's silence to remember the victims of the Leicester City helicopter crash which killed Leicester City Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and for Remembrance Day ahead of the English Premier League football match between Leicester City and Burnley at King Power Stadium in Leicester, central England on 10 November 2018.

"We were unlucky but I was proud of the players' performance because they gave their best in this situation", said Puel.

"We are committed to honouring his memory and upholding his legacy".

Upon arrival to the King Power stadium fans were given scarves with "forever in our heart" printed on them along with pin badges, clappers and programmes in a touching tribute to their former owner.

And there were tributes to the 65-year-old in emotional scenes before kick-off.

Mauricio Pochettino's side, who lost Kieran Trippier and Erik Lamela to injuries at Selhurst, are also four points above fifth-placed Arsenal, who host Wolves on Sunday. I would like to congratulate the players because it was hard. He played so well.

Southampton striker Charlie Austin was left fuming with officials after they disallowed what he felt was a clear goal during the 1-1 draw with Watford which left the Saints still struggling on eight points.

Newcastle sealed a second successive league win for the first time in nine months, beating Bournemouth 2-1 at St James' Park.

Mark Hughes' team, thrashed 6-1 by Manchester City last weekend, took the lead in the 20th minute when Manolo Gabbiadini struck for his first goal of the season. Southampton, leading at the time through a Manolo Gabbiadini goal, were then hit by a late Jose Holebas equaliser.

It certainly was not for a lack of trying, as the home side controlled most of the match and crafted some good chances, but Rachid Ghezzal was denied by the crossbar and Joe Hart impressed in the Burnley goal.

Cardiff celebrated only their second league win of the season as Sol Bamba netted a dramatic stoppage-time victor to seal their win over 10-man Brighton.

Elsewhere, Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson scored a second-half equalizer to rescue a point for West Ham in a 1-1 draw at Huddersfield in the English Premier League on Saturday.
