Strong Storms For The Plains — Sunday Morning Weather

Warmer and more humid air will try to push back in from the south and west. Scattered showers and storms. More 80's and low 90's for Tuesday as storm coverage continues to ease up. The warmest will be late in the week, with upper 80s and possibly low 90s in places. Highs in the lower 90s.

That front will dissolve on Wednesday so the chance of a shower or storm will go down. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s, heat index values may climb into the lower 100° range. Winds will be south-southwest around 5 miles per hour. This made for fantastic weather Sunday with a fair amount of sunshine and high temps in the upper 70s to low 80s with low humidity. The high will be 88. Wind: S 5-15; gusty. The high will be 86; winds will be northeast around 5 miles per hour. There will only be a slight chance for showers and storms. A 30 percent chance of showers can be expected throughout the day.

Wednesday. Partly sunny. Scattered showers and storms possible.

Friday Night.Partly cloudy. Shower and storm chance sticks around into the evening. The high will be 91, after a morning low of 70. High temperatures will once again be in the middle or higher side of the 80s. The high will be 91, after a morning low of 71.
