Star Wars Battlefront II: New Trailer Sheds Revealing Light on Protagonist

At the start of Battlefront II's story, you'll fight as a member of Inferno Squad through the "Empire's final, desperate hour", voyaging across the galaxy aboard the Imperial Raider Corvus.

Since the main critique of 2015's Star Wars Battlefront was the lack of a single player campaign, it's only natural for Star Wars Battlefront II to include one.

A new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II has been released, which focuses on Iden Versio.

Coming into Battlefront 2, game director Mark Thompson states the team at EA and Lucasfilm knew that they wanted to tell a soldier's story. Storm troopers are people outside of combat and they have stories that can be told. Though I can agree that they are probably the coolest part of the Star Wars universe, regular humans can be pretty interesting too, as Battlefront II will have the leisure to explore.

"They pitched us a story that would span from Return of the Jedi through the events of The Force Awakens", Blank said in the video.

Seeing the point of view of The Empire is unique. She is then the ideal candidate to believe in the good that the Empire can do, and should act as a long-awaited counterpoint to the constant depiction of the Imperials as nothing but space Nazis.

The trailer reveals a little bit more about Iden Versio, the commander of the Inferno Squadron commando team at the heart of the game. The game itself will be released on November 17th, 2017 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
