Square Enix’s E3 showcase was a bust

Unfortunately, all four titles were already part of Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference. Some fans have been quick to draw comparison's to FromSoftware's Dark Souls series, but based on second-glance, we aren't quick to draw those conclusions ourselves.

Here's the full lineup of games shown during the Square Enix E3 2018 showcase.

There will also be two special editions of the game. Lara Croft is trapped in an airplane that's about to crash.

One of the more out of the box moments of the press stream started with what looked like a real-world video of a metropolitan city featuring a live action performance by an actor walking down an alley about to be mugged by a trio of thugs. This includes the new raid, Ridorana Lighthouse.

Here's a slightly longer look at The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. This game is set in the Life is odd universe, and will be bridging the gap between the first game and the second.

I kind of wish the art style in this were a bit closer to Ni no Kuni, but Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is looking suitably sprawling.

It will also have a crossover with Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer

The developers released new footage, showcasing new the classic destructive gameplay, as well as the extreme weather system. Eventually debuting in the Xbox Briefing last night. The game will be available June 26th on the Xbox Store. The trailer ended off with a cute little scene that showed the characters drinking the popular health potions in Monster Hunter: World.

As you can see in the trailer the planned release date for Octopath Traveler is July 13th, which is quickly approaching. Just Cause 4 has four distinct biomes: Rainforest, Grasslands, Alpine & Desert. You'll get the Legendary Builder's Cap which will change your hairstyle to the protagonist from the original game and the Dragonlord's Throne recipe will let you craft a throne that changes your appearance to that of the Dragonlord while sitting on it. Bisson says that the game will feature the largest hub, more tombs, and unique mechanics like wall-running and grappling.

Enemy AI is more intelligent than previous titles.

A live action trailer seamlessly morphs into an a CG fight sequence in the teaser for "The Quiet Man". We'll find out more about the game in August of this year.

Earlier this week, Square Enix confirmed that Kingdom Hearts III will release on January 29th, which is later than the 2018 release window that had been confirmed a while back. Making it the most powerful and creative tool the player has ever had.

Then again, we still have months to go before Kingdom Hearts III is released to the public.

I have been so impressed working with the KINGDOM HEARTS' team.
