Samsung sees strong demand for Galaxy S8 despite Note7 fiasco

Due to that state of affairs, it seems unlikely that the second largest wireless carrier in the country will start selling the Galaxy S8 Active as soon as the regular variants of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus launch.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a new approach, as the company has adopted a similar all screen front and widescreen aspect ratio.

The foldable feature, however, could appear on two separate devices mysteriously named Galaxy X and Galaxy X1, but at an unspecified time.

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd that unveiled its Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone last month, is all set to bring it in India.

Analysts expect Samsung to record its best-ever quarterly profit in April-June, buoyed by strong S8 sales and a memory chip market boom that is widely expected to deliver record revenue for the industry this year.

Following the official statement, consumers who opt to buy the newest offering from Samsung will have to wait until the early part of the second half of the year to get the complete experience of Bixby.

The Verge said that with the various specification changes between S7 and S8, it is hard to deduce what the rugged version of Samsung Galaxy S8 would look like once it's shipped for customer delivery.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have a dedicated button to launch Bixby. With the Galaxy S8 featuring a radical design with its Infinity display, it will be interesting to see how Samsung adopts that, or if at all it does, into the device.

That said, the sources did say that the Galaxy S8 Active will likely be an AT&T exclusive when it's released this year. Mobile business chief Koh Dong-jin said: "We're sincerely preparing for the Chinese market with Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus". Both the phones come with Alway On display and IP68 water and dust resistance capabilities. Recently, Samsung has slashed the prices of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India, and they are now retailing for Rs. 5000 less than the original price. The Galaxy S8 pre-orders already reached 728,000 within six days.
