Sam Bradford Activated Ahead of Vikings' Playoff Game vs. Saints

The Vikings turned to backup Case Keenum in Bradford's absence, going 11-3 in the 14 games he started. "You ask drew how it feels to play in the dome it's easy he's just calling out plays and the crowd is relatively quiet and it's like that for us on the road", said Saints linebacker Mantei Te'o. It would be the last full game Bradford would play in this season.

Special teamers Michael Mauti and Taysom Hill are questionable due to illness, a concern for New Orleans as they head into Sunday's game.

"I think we as coaches our whole lives have learned how to stay in the moment", Shurmur said on Thursday. Offensively, Sam threw the ball outstanding. "I watched them throughout the season, and they been doing really good..." They are still an aggressive defense but I think there are some opportunities out there for us. "The communication and how we teach, how we motivate, all of those things, you have to be creative and we have definitely done that".

The Vikings' defensive line might be the best in the National Football League, and it'll put pressure on Drew Brees, who's playing behind a banged-up offensive line after losing left guard Andrus Peat to an injury and with left tackle Terron Armstead already nursing an injury.

A look at the New Orleans Saints' danger men, that Drew Bees has to choose from, heading into the NFC divisional round. Give this game to the Vikings, on the late Kai Forbath kick that Ryan Longwell never got to try. Before kickoff in their wild card match-up Sunday, the Saints honored the players from that 2009 team by introducing them one-by-one.

Now, the Saints find themselves in a very similar situation, once again playing on the Vikings' turf but this time for bigger stakes.

"At this point you know next week is not guaranteed so you know you are fighting for the opportunity to have another week".
