Rs 153 Plan Upgraded on JioPhone

Jio will provide 100 percent cashback vouchers worth Rs 400 in the form of 8 vouchers of Rs 50 denomination on every recharge of rs 398 or above plan.

This plan comes as a response to Airtel's Rs. 93 plan, which was announced a week before, offering the same benefits along with 100 messages on top.

The company also has two sachet plans of Rs 24 and Rs 54, which offer 500MB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day for the validity period.

This is the third consecutive cashback offer the Mukesh Ambani-backed telco is running for its users, and comes soon after it cut prices of its 1GB per day prepaid packs, and launched packs with 1.5GB daily data allocation.

Reliance Jio Phone's Rs 153 plan, which used to offer 500MB data per day, will now give customers double the data. This plan is targeting the consumers who are more in need of calling time than internet and thus need a low cost plan, which offers unlimited calls. Users will now get 1GB of 4G data per day instead of 500MB that was available earlier. Along with this, 70 SMSes per day come bundled with the pack. Jio has increased the daily data limit in the Rs 153 plan for JioPhone to 1GB per day, which means a total of 28GB data for a validity of 28 days. Unlimited Calls also include free roaming calls.

Customers will get a cashback benefit of Rs 1,500 on itel A40 4G and itel A41 smartphones. Just like before, the internet speed will be reduced to 64Kbps once the 1GB data limit is exhausted.
