Overwatch Patch 1.14 Finally Adds Reporting For Xbox One and PS4

Get hyped, Overwatch fans: Blizzard just announced that it's going to reveal some exciting new content the week beginning August 21: A new Overwatch map and a new animated short.

We've known that Blizzard was working on implementing a report system for Overwatch on consoles, but now we know when it'll hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It will be livestreamed through the Blizzard gamescom web portal.

In a post on their website, Blizzard has laid out what people in attendance can expect.

Other Overwatch events include the Wednesday debut of a new animated short, a live performance by the game's German voice actors on Thursday, and a presentation by Overwatch FX Artis Rachel Day on Friday centered on the character Doomfist.

Blizzard's bringing new content and events for most of its current games slate to Gamescom. Next week, it'll be doing it again, as it has planned a live reveal during the forthcoming Gamescom event. The top twelve ranked Arena teams will also be battling it out during the WoW European Championship Finals from Wednesday to Saturday for their shot at a $100,000 prize pool, and a chance to play in the World Championship Finals at Blizzcon later that year. The Hearthstone Global Games Finals will also take place during the show.

New co-op commander will be revealed on Monday, August 21.

In addition, attendees at gamescom can pick up a selection of Blizzard merchandise, including some brand-new and convention-exclusive items, at the Blizzard store in Hall 5. Its booth, meanwhile, will be located in Koelnmesse's Hall 7 and will be stocked with playable builds of Overwatch, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft II, StarCraft: Remastered, and Diablo III.
