'Overwatch' Halloween Event Trailer Teases the Return of Junkenstein, New Skins

Take a look at some of the new Overwatch Halloween Skins from last year as well as the skins from last year which should be returning.

The "Overwatch" Halloween Event for 2017 will run until November 2.

When is Overwatch's Halloween Terror event?

Make sure to pick these up either in Trick-or-Treat loot boxes or by purchasing them with in-game currency before the Halloween Terror 2017 seasonal event is over.

The return of the Junkenstein's Revenge brawl marks the first recycled seasonal event - but since we only got a month to play it past year, it's hard to complain.

GAMERS will be pleased to know that Overwatch's Hallowen Terror event is finally upon us. The new skins that players can collect are Corsair Ana, Cultist Zenyatta, Dracula Reaper, Dragon Symmetra, Jiangshi Mei, Totally 80's Zarya, Van Helsing McCree, and Viking Torbjörn. Whether this is all of them or more are planned remains to be seen.

Last year, we got three new Halloween emotes include Winston making some shadow puppets with his gorilla feet, Reinhardt smashing a pumpkin with his huge Rocket Hammer, and Ana daintily dropping candy around her feet for all the kids to enjoy. To see the full videos of each, check out Blizzard's official event page for Halloween Terror.

During the Overwatch Summer Games 2017 event, skins were available to unlock via the credits system.

That's compared to returning Legendary skins at 1,000 credits, 2016 Epic skins for 250 credits, last year's Rare tier items for 75 credits and 2016 Common tier items for just 25 credits. It's identical to past year: Pick one of four heroes and hold the door against a horde of AI-controlled robot goombas while minibosses occasionally show up to wreck the party. Players fight against Junkenstein and his monsters-Reaper, Roadhog, and Mercy-to defend the Adlersbrunn castle.
