Origin Access Premier subscription tier announced

During a press conference Saturday at EA Play 2018, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) announced the launch of Origin Access Premier, a new subscription for Windows-based PC games.

Origin Access Premier will cost $15 United States per month or $100 per year. This upgrade allows players to access newly released games and upcoming games, including Anthem, Battlefield V, and Federation Internationale de Football Association 19.

EA has slated Origin Access Premier for a nebulous "Summer" release window. Are you looking forward to being able to stream your games from the cloud and play them on any device, anywhere you want?

More details will be revealed later in the year.

It should be noted that the basic Origin Access only grants early access to new releases, meaning that players still have to purchase them after the trial period is over.

EA was one of the first to embrace a game subscription service with EA Access on the Xbox One and Origin Access on the PC.

For fiscal year 2018, EA reported GAAP net revenue of $5.2 billion and more than 300 million registered players around the world. This means one can flip around their fingers through the game just not only ahead of the rest, but also without owning it, unless one just seeks to have a permanent copy. They will have access to the official release versions once they go live. Two which you're acting renting those full games for the duration of your membership. Play the full game starting five days before launch without purchasing it separately, until you cancel your Premier membership.
