Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge paused amid glitches

Speaking of blasts from the past, there seems to be a new Galaxy J7 version en route to AT&T, carrying model number SM-J737A.

The J6 is expected to be a budget offering and will be priced in the Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 bracket. It will look to capture the market share once again with the feature-rich Galaxy J6 which has the iconic design language of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S9 series.

One will get a pair of stereo headset, user manual, travel adapter, data cable and other general items in the box. While Galaxy A-series smartphones with Infinity Displays are already on sale, the Galaxy J6 will be Samsung's first budget smartphone to feature a "bezel-less" display. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about these upcoming Samsung smartphones!

According to past leaks, the phone might sport a 5.6-inch Infinity Display with a resolution of 1,480x720 pixels. The Galaxy J6 will run on the company's own Exynos 7870 chipset with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options and up to 64GB of onboard storage.

The J4 is really nothing to write home about, looking like a blast from the past, and featuring up to 3GB RAM paired with an Exynos 7570 SoC, as well as a single 13MP rear-facing camera, single 5MP selfie shooter, and 3000mAh battery. An interesting aspect to point is that the device will provide support for Samsung Pay.

While some key specs of the Galaxy J6 are yet to be confirmed, we do know nearly everything about the Galaxy A6+ as it was made official globally earlier this month.

It's believed that the device will be available for purchase shortly after the official announcements and should cost less than the Galaxy A6. It comes with Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience through headphones.
