Barcelona star Neymar is in contact with Paris Saint-Germain, after Spanish reports claimed that the Brazil worldwide is "uncomfortable" at the Nou Camp.
Neymar is also said to be interested in a move away from Barcelona as he wants to become the main man at a club and believes it is impossible to do so at the Nou Camp because of Messi.
Meanwhile, Diario Sport reported that Neymar was growing "uncomfortable" at getting second billing behind Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
"The only thing we care is he keeps being happy here", Vives said at a news conference for Barcelona's financial report.
In addition to the remarkable fee, the Parisians would offer Neymar himself €30m a year plus bonuses, which would make him one of the world's highest paid footballers.
Over the last two seasons Valverde's predecessor Luis Enrique had sometimes strained relations with Messi, who he pulled deeper and then pushed out to the right.
"We want him to remain at the club and continued to play and develop as a player with Barcelona".
Neymar's father will travel to Paris this week to meet Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the President of PSG, to discuss a transfer for the Brazilian winger. "We have not had any offers for any player in our squad and no club will pay the release clause".
A departure for Neymar would still be a shock though, with Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez insisting: "A Barcelona without Neymar?"
Spanish La Liga side Barcelona announced on Monday (July 17) a record income of €708 million (about S$1.12 blllion) for 2016/2017 with an after-tax profit of €18 million.
