The remaining four Toy-Con projects from the VR Kit will be available through Nintendo.com as "Expansion Set 1" (Toy-Con Elephant and Toy-Con Camera) and "Expansion Set 2" (Toy-Con Wind Pedal and Toy-Con Bird) for $19.99 apiece. One including the Elephant and Camera, and the other including the Wind Pedal and Bird.
The new $100, Nintendo VR kit includes an alien shooting title and an ocean swimming simulation.
This kit combines the innovative physical and digital gameplay of Nintendo Labo with basic VR technology to create a simple and shareable virtual reality experience for kids and families. This has a suggested retail price of $79.99 USD/ £79.99 GBP.
Currently, Nintendo has three Labo Toy-Con's available for purchase: the Toy-Con 01, which include RC cars, a piano, among others; the Toy-Con 02, which has a backpack that allows the user to control an on-screen robot; and the Toy-Con 03, that allows the player to drive a auto, plane, or submarine.
Nintendo is the latest company to join the virtual reality market following last night's announcement. This "Starter Set + Blaster" bundle will be priced at $39.99, and it'll include the Screen Holder and Safety Cap, as well as building materials for the Toy-Con VR Goggles and the Toy-Con Blaster.
VR Kit is the fourth entry in the Labo line of Switch games that come with cardboard accessories you assemble yourself using interactive instructions that come on the game cart. They'll be accompanied by "supplementary" expansion packs, $20 apiece, with two Toy-Con peripherals included in each package. Well, players will be able to use the Toy-Con Garage software suite to play around with their own VR creations, however, how this will work exactly is yet to be revealed fully.
The Nintendo Labo: VR Kit - Starter Set + Blaster and complete Nintendo Labo: VR Kit will be available in stores on April 12.
