Nana Patekar cancels press conference on Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment allegations

While some are in support of Tanushree, some are in favour of Nana Patekar and the rest are keeping their mouth shut to avoid further controversy.

The Oshiwara Police Station in recent reports has asserted that they have indeed received a complaint from Dutta and are now investigating matter.

Now, looking into the complaint, the Mumbai Police has come into action and will visit her home in the evening to record her statement.

A movement, on the lines of the Hollywood's #MeToo, has started after actor Tanushree Dutta levelled the allegations against Nana Patekar, with more women sharing on social media their horrifying experiences of sexual harassment in the entertainment and media industry.

The media was informed about the cancellation by Nana's son Malhar.

The actor has approached the cyber cell at the Bandra Kurla Complex and filed a complaint against the morphed video. Even, the ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya was expected to become part of them, but at the present, it appears like that he has ignored the decision and called off interaction meeting.

However, on the forth day of the shoot, Patekar's behaviour was inappropriate as he was grabbing her by the arms and pushing her around on the pretext of teaching her some steps, the complaint said.

Earlier in the day, Patekar, who was shooting for his upcoming film "Housefull 4" in Jodhpur, landed here Saturday.

Former Miss Universe contestant Tanushree Dutta first alleged in 2008 that multi-award-winning Nana Patekar behaved inappropriately towards her during the making of a romantic comedy the same year.

Patekar has denied the allegations and had sent Dutta a legal notice to withdraw the claims and issue an apology.
