Million dollar winning Powerball ticket sold in Grand Island

A Sumter grocery store sold a Powerball ticket sold worth $150,000 in the Saturday May 6 drawing, acording to the S.C. Education Lottery.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday that the victor was among four people statewide who matched four of the five white balls drawn - 11-21-31-41-59 - and the red Powerball 21.

The winning Powerball numbers drawn Saturday night are 11, 21, 31, 41, 59, Powerball 21, Power Play 3.

There were also $1 million tickets sold in Indiana, Maine and Nebraska.

The odds of winning the $50 thousand dollar prize are 1 in about 900 thousand.

No one has contacted the lottery office to claim the prize.

Powerball is a multi-state jackpot game now offered by 44 state lotteries, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

The next Powerball drawing will be Wednesday, May 10. The overall odds of winning any Powerball prize are 1 in 24.9.
