Manchester United Youngster Closing In On Loan Move To Fulham

Fulham have completed a triple loan move to land Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico and Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto on transfer deadline day.

Although they should perhaps take a glance at the views of Crystal Palace supporters before getting carried away with the 20-year-old's arrival at Craven Cottage.

Vietto joins the newly-promoted Premier League side, who are looking to cement their top-flight status under Slaviša Jokanović, and he can't wait to get started.

However, Fulham's Director of football, Tony Khan added: "I'm pleased to announce that Fulham Football Club has signed Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan from Manchester United".

"We arrived last in the Premier League (through the play-offs), so our principal target has to be to stay up", said Jokanovic, who in his previous job in England guided Watford to promotion to the Premier League but then left. "I'm excited to start training, to meet all my teammates and, above all, to enjoy the season that starts this Saturday".

To date, he's featured 38 times for Atleti registering 3 goals in the process, with 25 of those appearances coming in La Liga.

"A good loan is a loan to play", Mourinho told MUTV on Thursday morning.
