Linkin Park Shares Carpool Karaoke Featuring the Late Chester Bennington

The video, which was shared on their Facebook page and Apple Music late on Thursday (Oct 12), comes nearly three months after Bennington's death.

The band sings along to Numb with Ken Jeong in the video, which was released with the blessing of Chester's family following his death.

Bennington also taught Jeong how to "scream-sing" and, according to the scream-singing master himself, the Community star was a "natural". The clip was filmed just six days before Bennington's untimely death in July.

Linkin Park have taken to Facebook to release their episode of Carpool Karaoke and it's 24-minutes of hilarity with comedian Ken Jeong (Community, Role Models).

Bennington committed suicide on July 20 (US Time). What follows is a fun and amusing journey as the group sings along to favorites from Linkin Park (naturally), Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more.

Chester Bennington has starred in one final video. At one point, he even calls it "the greatest day of my life". Afterwards, he tells Jeong he should be a member of the band, because he brought them leadership. 'Cause Lily's really curious, like "Daddy, how do you like songs? Where does the music come from?' I want them to find whatever it is".

Series creator James Corden previously said that the late singer's family would decide if the episode would air. The singer had been on vacation in Arizona with his wife, Talinda, and family, but had returned home to work.

The sold-out tribute concert will take place on October 27 at Hollywood Bowl in California.
