Kylian Mbappe set to join PSG for £163m

THE LFP has announced the ratification of Neymar Jr's transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, leaving the way clear for the Brazilian superstar to make his Ligue 1 Conforama debut away to EA Guingamp on Sunday night.

FFF president Noel Le Graet had earlier stated his confidence that Neymar would be able to make his bow in Brittany. "Have they decided, in a way to settle scores, to take the maximum amount of time allowed [to submit the paperwork]?" asked L'Equipe, the French daily sports newspaper.

"These are complicated deals, but there is no missing document today". I do not doubt that this will be quickly solved.

It's been almost a week since Neymar landed in Paris, and the world's most expensive player still can't play for his new club in the French league.

Neymar could not make his maiden PSG appearance in the 2-0 win over Amiens at Parc des Princes last Saturday because his former club had not confirmed that they had received the fee in full, which meant his worldwide transfer certificate, ITC, could not be granted.

The 25-year-old forward can play for the Ligue 1 side at Guingamp on Sunday. Guingamp will be looking for at least another mid-table position after last season's 10place finish, while PSG will be looking to reclaim the Ligue 1 title after missing out last season for the first time in three seasons to Monaco.

"Everything's going well, he's ready, he's showing a lot of good things and adapting very well with the squad", said Emery. Neymar had assured, inter alia, to negotiate with no other club before 31 July 2017.

"If he decides to remain at the club, we will have a great player and if he leaves we will get his whole buyout clause paid in full". But in order for a deal to be completed, Mbappe would need to reach an agreement with PSG and that has not happened yet despite conflicting reports that said otherwise.

At the start of the week the cameras tracked the Brazilian to St Tropez, where he soaked up the sun for two days before getting down to the more important business of training at the club's Camp des Loges base.
