John Cena Makes His Big Announcement

John Cena is set to return as host of Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, part of an expanded partnership between the WWE star and the cable channel.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be Nickelodeon's second TMNT animated series, with 2012's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ending after five seasons.

Said Cena, "I'm thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon on three big projects that run the range of what kids love-slime-filled live events, awesomely cool animation and competition shows where kids take their shot at being the best". "Kids just love him, which makes him the ideal partner for these upcoming projects". Nickelodeon doesn't do programming that doesn't have comedy in it, that doesn't have smiles in it.

'It's kind of a special time where there is a little bit of lull and I'm really looking forward to spending some time with Nicole'.

"It's a wonderful environment", Cena said of Kids' Choice.

According to Zarghami, asking Cena to host Kids' Choice was an easy decision both times around.

Draxum will be debuting in the show's first episode.

You can see Cena getting slimed during his previous appearance at the Kids' Choice Awards a year ago down below.

"It's like the chaos and the slime-ability of Kids" Choice meets that insane scene in the original "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" where everyone is wearing white suits and the kid gets transported through the TV, ' is how Cena explained his new venture. We also want to remind you that we have a Newsletter you can sign up to. Keep It Spotless is produced by ITV Entertainment and Hard Nocks South Productions. "It's gonna be super special to kids".

We're probably most excited to hear Cena on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles, but then again, we're not the target audience for the other projects. The awards show, which honors young viewers' favorite movies, TV series, music and more, will air live on March 24, from 8-9:30 p.m. (ET/PT), returning to the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
