Twitter went nuts for the Fiji Water Girl and pronounced her a star.

As Hollywood's finest walked the red carpet at the 76th annual Golden Globes, all eyes were on the scene-stealing brunette carrying a tray of Fiji Water as she photobombed some of the award shows biggest stars. Specifically, as it was reported by CNET.com, Cuthbert quickly made a name for herself on the Internet for photobombing several celebrity photos during the evening.

Yesterday, Cuthbert explained how she came to be such a presence on the red carpet.

"Well, you have to understand the layout of the red carpet".

The Canadian-born model was hailed as the first meme of the awards season for her gutsy self-promotion, trending on social media as viewers applauded her ambition.

Entertainment website E! News in an exclusive has now revealed the identity of the Fiji Water Girl. E! "Nicole Kidman, I have always wanted to work with you so thank you". In fact, of all the shots, she says her favourite photobomb was with Jim Carrey, because she used to watch him growing up. On the many photos she was part of, she said, "Sometimes you're caught between a lot of cameras, so there's a lot of photographers at different angles".

The Golden Globes took place on Sunday night. Fiji water's Twitter account even got in on the joke. "As the official water sponsor of the Golden Globes, FIJI Water, along with its FIJI Brand Ambassadors, hydrated guests on the red carpet and during the star-studded show".

While Cuthbert is still a minor mystery, one fashion photograph who has worked with her raves about the young model. She's reportedly married to photographer Christopher Von Steinbach, whom she met in 2010 and Wednesday just six months later.

"Remember, Fiji Water is not paying one cent for every little Instagram post or Facebook picture with Fiji Water Girl in it, it's free".

Vaughn Davis, the owner of Auckland advertising agency The Goat Farm thought the "guerilla styled" marketing campaign by Fiji Water was a master stroke.
