India Willoughby first to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2018

Since going public India has continued her work with ITV's local news programmes in the region and appeared on a series of high profile shows.

Tonight marks the first Celebrity Big Brother eviction, where India Willoughby faces Love Island hunk Jonny Mitchell in the public vote.

On Tuesday night, Emma Willis entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and surprised the sixteen housemates with live face-to-face nominations. Honestly, that was another big mistake.

A self-described Big Brother superfan, Willoughby said: "My tactics were all over the place and I think in terms of it being an intellectual show once you're frozen out it's really hard to get back into the conversation". Paramount in my head, as soon as I got in the house, I wanted a single bed.

"I should have kept my gob shut and just waited for the questions to come and answered the questions one by one, instead of burying people under a load of statements and views", she said. "My tactics were all over the place", she said.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday evening, the trans broadcaster said that after watching the episodes, part of the story of her time in the house was missing.

"I was psyched up to mix it a little bit".

Despite her time in the house being controversial, India said she is a massive fan of the show and said she would overcome her fears of drag queens, most notably from Courtney Act.

On her relationship with the United States star she said: "Shane J has been terrific... a lot of respect and we will stay friends after this show".

'But I think him and Ashley do make a good couple, and I do believe romance could be on the cards. "The eye contact is consistent". I love the experience ... but did I give my best show?

She said: "I was fatally wounded in terms of the game of Big Brother".

Friday's first CBB eviction was seen by 1.8 million viewers from 9pm.
