Impossible for Chelsea to sell Barcelona target Willian says Sarri

Chelsea's attack has been mired in uncertainty for all sorts of reasons, for much of the past twelve months. You have to call the club and ask about the market.

The Toffees clearly have a good working relationship with Barca, having brought Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes in from the Nou Camp over the summer and they should take full advantage of that with Malcom.

"My future? It's here at Chelsea", he said.

The Catalan giants are trying to tempt Chelsea into letting Willian leave by including their summer signing Malcom in any potential deal.

In the end, Barca signed Malcom from Bordeaux to bolster their wide options, but the 21-year-old has hardly featured, playing just five times in LaLiga. And, the Blaugrana are hoping to use their interest in Willian by offering Malcom as a sweetener to Chelsea. He already has a €38m transfer fee around him and he would have been a suitable replacement for the ageing and under-performing Blues winger. Reports suggested Barca had made a swap deal for Willian, an offer consisting of £49 million plus his compatriot. Chelsea turned down Barcelona's latest bid to sign the former Shakhtar Donetsk attacker, according to the report in The Daily Telegraph, and it appears unlikely that Malcom will be going to Stamford Bridge either.

€60m is a great value for a player like Willian, who is in the final stages of his prime and the current contract at Chelsea. Secondly, Sarri is unwilling to let go of the player he rates so highly.

Willian will not be leaving Chelsea during the January transfer window.
