Rain has delayed the start of the 26th and final race of the 2018 NASCARCup Series regular season. The race originally was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, but was moved to Monday due to heavy rains. Unfortunately rain and mist has been on the track all day and plans for the Cuprace have been on hold.
The drivers will line up for both races without any practice or qualifying.
A Toyota Tundra track-drying team of 19 vehicles is on hand to dry the track if still needed Monday, along with 10 jet dryers and four vacuums.
With the starting lineups for both races ordered according to owner points because of qualifying rainouts, Blaney will lead the field to green in the Lilly Diabetes 250.

Kyle Busch is on the pole for Monday's Brickyard 400, with Kevin Harvick joining him on the front row.
