Per a report from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the team is signing former Packers and Redskins safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a one-year contract.
Clinton-Dix most recently played nine games with Washington after the Packers traded him mid-season a year ago. Clinton-Dix and Jackson will be teammates again in Chicago, where Jackson earned first-team All-Pro recognition at safety during the 2018 season.
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix #21 of the Green Bay Packers looks on against the Washington Redskins at FedExField on September 23, 2018 in Landover, Maryland. He became an immediate starter, replacing Montae Nicholson, and finished with 65 tackles and three pass breakups.
Clinton-Dix played every defensive snap while with Green Bay and did the same in seven of his nine games with the Redskins. Clinton-Dix fills the hole left by Amos, and does so with plenty of experience within the NFC North. He has started 16 games in each of the past four seasons and has 14 career interceptions in five seasons.
