GOP Rep. Scalise: Ocasio-Cortez Should Stand Up to Radicals

While Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has suddenly become many Republicans' favorite target as of late, her message seems to be resonating with the American people - at least if her Twitter following is any indication.

Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman elected to Congress, was sworn into the US House on Thursday.

"Everybody knows you were shot, nearly killed". They will run right through you.

"If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen", she concluded with a laugh. Do you agree that she could possibly, in this ideology of the socialist left, could splinter your party?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said in an interview aired Sunday that there is "no question" President Donald Trump is a racist. Kilmeade asked, "Do you think it's inappropriate that she didn't?"

Appearing on Sean Hannity's Fox News show Monday night, Scalise said "she ought to own up and say look, this isn't something that I condone", though he also said she did not own responsibility for the offending tweets "directly". "Everybody ought to stand up to this kind of discussion".

Right now, someone who makes $10 million gets taxed at the same rate as a person who makes $550,000.

"Naturally, the same week we kick-start a nat'l convo on marginal tax rates endorsed by Nobel-Prize winning economists, I'm being described as 'vacuous, '" tweeted Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday. Her response was nasty, but did not call for or condone violence. Since then, she has campaigned for a Green New Deal that will bring the country down to zero use of fossil fuels in just twelve years. "Snipe his ass", one user named Raandy, a satirical account behind the scam about postal workers "ripping up Trump ballots", tweeted. "But it means that as you climb up this ladder, you should be contributing more", Ocasio-Cortez said.

Ocasio-Cortez did not respond after Scalise said the two could "continue this debate on the Floor of the People's House" because the Twitter exchange was "clearly not productive" with her "radical" followers.
