Google making video calling easier

FaceTiming your parents and friends has become a part of everyday life for iPhone owners - and Google wants to get Android users in on the act. At first, it sounds odd, but later we realized that it is useful, you can also get this Pixel style interface on your Android device by just installing a 3MB application. The control works with both music and video, and users can specify which Chromecast they're controlling. The current stable in the Play Store for Nexus, Pixel, and Android One devices is version 4.4, but there is now version 5.0 and 5.1. This particular functionality existed in numerous camera apps over the years, though the highly automated nature of the Google Camera app's feature makes it a somewhat unique offering; smoothening out your skin textures is as simple as tapping a button and letting the service do the rest while you worry about framing.

But what if we say that now you can enjoy a Pixel-like interface on any of your Android devices, let's check out how.

Video calling brings you face to face with your family and friends, whether you're in the same city or thousands of miles away.

'You can now start a video call directly from where you call or text message your friends, through your Phone, Contacts, and Android Messages apps.

That's right, the new Google Camera app has already been cracked.

As Android Police reported recently, a preview of Google's Phone app v13, which is now out, brought the new Duo video call integration to the three communications app. You just need to double tap on either of your earbuds in order to ask it a question or to get information from your supported apps and services.
