Gionee M7 Power Launched in India with a Massive 5000mAh Battery

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has launched the M7 Power smartphone with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen and 3D photo feature at Rs 16,999. This phone has a 6-inch FullView HD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio with Gorilla Glass 3 on the front side.

The M7 Power comes with 13MP f/2.0 camera on the back and an 8MP f/2.2 front shooter, Gionee claims that the camera can create 3D pictures; all you need to do is pan around the object.

The sale of the smartphone will commence from November 25 on Amazon India and major offline retail stores. To recall, the smartphone was first launched by Gionee in China in September, alongside the Gionee M7. It also has split screen feature and the display has a blue light filter which protects the user's eyes and reduces fatigue.

TheSnapdragon 435 chipset that includes a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor powers the Gionee M7 Power along with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone is infused with a 5000mAh battery and hence the weight of the device is around 200 grams with an enlarged thickness of 8.6mm. It has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB and its hybrid SIM slot can support up to 256 GB of microSD card. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel fixed focus front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The dual-SIM Gionee M7 Power runs Amigo 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Gionee M7 Power uses a USB microUSB 2.0 port for charging.

The battery life of this beauty can not be stressed enough as it provides nearly 625 hours on standby and 56 hours of talk time. The phone is priced at Rs. 16999 and will be available starting from November 25th. Pre-orders start via Amazon India at 5pm IST on Friday, and more launch offers will be detailed by the company.
