Ghost Recon: Wildlands Free To Play This Weekend On PC and Consoles

Ghost War is a free, 4v4 PvP mode available to all players. PC players will be able to pre-load the game today.

This free weekend event will also offer "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" with a 50 percent discount which would thus drop the price of the game down to $30.

Microsoft is gearing up to launch another free play weekend for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

It does not feature the futuristic setting used in Advanced Warfighter and Future Soldier, but instead adopts a modern-day setting, similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. This new mode will also see the introduction of new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers. Players can try a wide array of weapons, abilities, and vehicles that let you tackle each situation using whatever strategy you choose.

About a couple of weeks ago, the video game developer and publisher Ubisoft made fans aware of the release date for the 4-on-4 PvP mode known as Ghost War in its open world tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Each choice has a outcome, and players must improvise or adapt their plans to ensure the completion and success of each mission.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands has received a new update right on schedule, though not on PC. This is "Ghost Recon" at its extreme. That includes the missions available through the single-player mode, as well as co-op with up to four friends.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is a work of fiction.

Founded in 1986 and based in Rennes, France Ubisoft is a market-leading gaming publisher and distributor. For the 2016-17 fiscal year Ubisoft generated sales of €1,460 million.
