Frozen 2 trailer drops and things look unsafe for Elsa and Anna

The songs were unbelievable - to the point that it produced one of the best-known Disney songs ever, in "Let It Go".

The first trailer for Disney's Frozen 2 has arrived.

Elsa's not the only one getting in on the action.

But of course Elsa's wintry powers would still be paramount in a movie called "Frozen". Elsa is riding the waves! Anna's fiance Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) races through the forest on his reindeer Sven, flanked by other reindeer. But there's no question that things look serious for our heroes of Arendelle, even if it's uncertain what foe they're facing. With not a clear time frame set for when Disney's Frozen 2 takes place, the film looks incredible and will feature new music from songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

I'm going to be completely frank with you: I cried over that Olaf short that everyone hated. While the sequel to the 2013 smash has been kept tightly under wraps, a fully-formed trailer has cast a spell on the internet. The red-carpet interview was conducted around the same time rumors started swirling that Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) and Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) would potentially be joining the sequel.

Frozen made over $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office, making it Walt Disney Animation Studio's biggest hit ever.
