Every Motorola Smartphones Getting Android 8.0 Oreo Update Listed

Android O brings in some cool new features like the integration of the Picture-in-Picture view, auto fill, instant apps and more.

The devices in question that are eligible for the update include the Moto Z, Z Droid, Z Force Droid, Z Play, Z Play Droid, Z2 Play, Z2 Force Edition, Moto X4, Moto G5, G5 Plus, G5S, and the G5S Plus. The instant application is one of the major features where the user needs not to install the application. This smartphone is also expected to get the Oreo upgrade. Earlier today, the Motorola support page started showing the devices which were going to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update, which was uploaded to AOSP some weeks back.

Moreover, the update after the beta testing will start hitting the regular Galaxy S8 owners starting from early November. It has front-facing speakers as well as a fingerprint sensor that is integrated into the power button. These are the phones that will get priority, but that doesn't mean others won't get added at a later date. Also, Google is in talks with the other smartphone manufacturers so that the company devices will have Android Oreo 8.0 Update. However, Nougat's distribution for last month is bigger than July's 13.5 per cent. All these phones currently run on the Android Nougat OS.

Locked Pixel phones, i.e. those bought via a carrier or a network, will always take longer, unless you're on Verizon, as they already have it, though, those with non-Google phones will have to wait even longer. The latest tablet offerings are named Tab 4 8 and 8 Plus including Tab 4 10 and 10 Plus.

HMD Global also confirmed that the Nokia 5, Nokia 3, Nokia 6 phones and other recently announced high-end phones like Nokia 8 also get the Android Oreo update. All the users are happy with the latest software from Google which has several features which are useful and time-saving.
