Eden Hazard Reveals He'd Like To Work With Jose Mourinho Again

Asked on Thursday whether he needed to play in Spain to win the Ballon d'Or, awarded annually to the world's best player, a smiling Hazard responded: "That's why I want to go, maybe".

"In those twelve years of professional career, I have had one bad year - the last six months under Mourinho, and it was partly my own fault", he said.

Hazard indicated at the end of last season that he was considering his future at Chelsea, but he eventually chose to continue at Stamford Bridge for the current campaign.

Eden Hazard still has room for improvement and could become one of the world's best players, according to Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.

"I'd say this Chelsea side is only at 60-70 percent capacity right now, but how much we are missing and how much we need is not the same thing". We just ended up in a negative cycle.

I felt a little bit guilty because I'd been player of the year.

Despite a victory over Newcastle United, Mourinho remains under pressure at United as he prepares for next weekend's trip to Hazard's Chelsea. Should Chelsea win, Mourinho may well find himself looking for a new job in the near future.

Eden Hazard has admitted that he wants to work with Jose Mourinho once again, despite the Belgian being one of the main reasons that he was sacked from his second spell at Chelsea.

Real Madrid are expected to make a renewed bid to sign the former Lille winger during the close season and Hazard admits he is in regular contact with Varane, who used to play with his brother at Lens. I speak with Mbappe too.

"It is my dream since I was a kid. I think so. It is also when you have a dream and you want to make it happen".

When pressed on his desire to win the Ballon d'Or, the 27-year-old was quick to point out that this was one of the reasons why he might one day favour a move away.

Could Hazard and Mourinho end up together again?
