Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrive in Ireland on first global trip

The two dazzled in very different but equally gorgeous looks, with Meghan wowing in a designer and cut she has never worn before.

After dazzling in a handsome cream V-neck dress by Alexander McQueen yesterday at Prince Louis' christening , topped off with a stunning Jane Taylor headband, the Duchess of Cambridge donned yet another attractive look by the British label.

The choice of Ireland for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first official foreign trip holds special significance given the impact of Brexit on the Irish border and the Queen's focus on strengthening British-Irish relations.

Of course, Meghan looked absolutely stunning as she strutted down the airport runway wearing the green Givenchy dress.

When Meghan signed her name with a flourish, Harry added, "Yours is much nicer than mine".

The 36-year-old actress completed the elegant ensemble with nude heels and a black clutch, also from the storied French fashion house, as well as a sheer black fascinator by Stephen Jones and a low bun.

They are due to meet Taoiseach (Irish prime minister) Leo Varadkar and Irish President Michael D Higgins.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the Abbey together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with the Princes in their uniforms and Kate Middleton again sporting Alexander McQueen.

Tourists can follow in Harry and Meghan's footsteps by visiting the GAA museum and taking a stadium tour.

Earlier on Tuesday, the pair attended a service at Westminster Abbey to mark the centenary for the Royal Air Force (RAF), which included a flypast of around 100 aircraft.

Other guests at the posh do were Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three youngsters, Prince George, 4, Princess Charlotte, 3 - and of course Prince Louis, eleven weeks.
