Due To Injury, Paige's WWE In-Ring Career Is Over

In a seemingly sad turn of events, it appears that WWE Superstar Paige may be forced to retire due to an injury relapse to her neck area following an errant kick from Sasha Banks at a WWE Live Event last week. She underwent neck surgery in October 2016.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Paige's career could be over after her most recent injury.

But last month the youngest ever Divas Champion suffered a serious injury after a kick by Sasha Banks during a house show at the Nassau Coliseum in NY.

Despite the possibility of Paige not being able to wrestle ever again, this does not mean she will leave the WWE forever. We look at the top 5 moments that shaped Paige's WWE career. It was also revealed that Paige, who has two million Twitter followers, suffers from scoliosis, a sideways curvature of the spine, a condition that was diagnosed later in her life. WWE management likes her and is likely to continue to involve her somehow. After several minutes, Paige walked out under her own power. She will be replaced in the match and all signs are that she will relegated to a non-physical role for the company going forward.

At this tragic time as we await a word on Paige from both WWE and herself, let us condemn the amount of hate Sasha Banks is having to face on social media for that in-ring accident.

Paige, the first NXT Women's champion, was moved to the main roster as a surprise the day after Wrestlemania 30 in New Orleans, shockingly defeating AJ Lee to become the WWE Divas champion. She would go on to win that title a second time that August.

Firstly, most pro wrestlers in the world have no reason to compete in the ring with a vile mindset. She's been on Total Divas, and she could even end up in a coaching position or another role in NXT.
