McGregor addressed the situation during the third press conference of the worldwide tour, which took place at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, and insisted that he is not a racist.
The buildup to the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor this August continues to get more intense. He's too frail, his little legs, little core, small head. Cut the champ-champ's mic off? McGregor also said "Money" was dressed like a breakdancer and couldn't read.
During the first of four press conferences Tuesday (July 11) where both sized each other up and talked the most sh*t humanly possible, the Irishmen made a comment to Mayweather that made a few folks raise their eyebrow.
Showtime, who are broadcasting and producing on the event, were responsible in the eyes of McGregor.
Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather continued their four-city press tour on Wednesday afternoon in Toronto. Meanwhile, Mayweather was business as usual as he took the stage second wearing a TMT hoodie and a baseball cap.
Earlier this week, it was reported Mayweather owes $22.2 million in unpaid taxes to the United States federal government from the year of his biggest payday, when he reportedly earned over $200 million from his 2015 showdown with Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but saying he can't read seems like a bit much. The 28-year-old was clearly basking in the moment as McGregor was suited and booted when he hit the stage. He's 40! Dress your age.
"Dana White, I remember when you used to carry my bags". What are you doing with a school bag on stage?
"Shout out to all the stripper b-ches on his payroll". He even called out Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, somewhat randomly. "He has 50", McGregor said. "A lot of people say that Conor McGregor is racist but I'm not anxious about that".
Mayweather Sr agreed with his son and on Wednesday said: 'Racist?
Sadly, it's been rumored for years that Mayweather is illiterate. "What else could they possibly want?" B-ch I do numbers. "You sing it for me, you dance for me!"
IF THERE'S one thing I'm an expert in, it's talking BS. "If you believe in yourself like you say you believe in yourself, bet your own fight check, you [expletive]".
Once again, McGregor was first out and this time he was in his absolute element. "It's done", McGregor said.
Having retired twice before, Mayweather insists that this fight against McGregor will be the last of his career. "The [expletive] fans can't fight for you", Mayweather said. Of course, McGregor wasn't about to allow Mayweather to disrespect his home country of Ireland as he gave him a rather stern warning about what to expect if he did anything to the flag.
"I just showed you all a $100 million cheque that I haven't even cashed yet, so we ain't tripping on that", he told reporters.
The American, Mayweather Jr, who has won world titles at five levels of weights, takes on the Irish UFC star, McGregor, on August 26 in Las Vegas (where else?!), USA.
