Drake and Popcaan Drop New Single "Controlla" [Stream]

"Controlla" sounds like it could be part two of Rihanna's single "Work", which Drake was featured on. The "Hotline Bling" rapper put out two mixtapes in the past year, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" and "What A Time To Be Alive", which were both heavy on hip hop. The song is a slow beat Caribbean jam that features Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan, who is used prominently throughout the track.

Speaking about View from the 6, long-time collaborator Noah "40" Shebib said: "It's going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us".

The news songs, Controlla and Things I Forgot To Do, have created quite a stir among fans since hitting the web on Wednesday because Drake actually sings on the tracks.

The second, meanwhile, is a cover of German singer Nico's song "These Days". It's alternative title is "Things I Forgot To Do" and the song appears on Babeo's Love Songs For Tough Guys EP. Following the track's unexpected arrival, Baggins posted its finished version online and explained to Dazed how she got Drake on the song.
