Davido Reacts to Police Report As Tagbo's Family Laments Media Uproar

Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has released an official statement and footage of what seems to be his last meeting with his late friend, Tagbo Umeike.

On the cause of death of two other Davido's friends who were found dead inside a BMW vehicle marked KJA631AY on October 7 at Banana Island, Edgal said the autopsy had not been concluded.

Later he was led back by an unidentified friend into the "Shisha Room".

According to Edgal, the autopsy report revealed that Tagbo died from suffocation, adding that Davido's driver and two of his friends abandoned him in his auto at the hospital.

Davido released the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage to absolve himself of any complicity in the death of late Umeike and to clear his name.

The statement further says that the deceased did not step foot in Davido's vehicle at Shisha Room to further prove his innocence as at the time of the incident.

"It is our intention to know why the victim was dumped in the hospital and those who took him there fled without notifying the hospital authorities or the police".

"The victim was alleged to have been brought by two unidentified males". The DPO and the Investigating Police Officer were also present.

"We therefore appeal to the members of the public to desist from jumping into uninformed conclusions about the unfortunate incidence, and further appeal to the media to also desist from negative publications that seek to project our Client in bad light. We commiserate with the families of the deceased and pray that God will comfort them at a time like this".
