Cristiano Ronaldo remains coy about his Real Madrid CF future

A statement released on his behalf said he "has not received any notification".

The 54-year-old Mourinho, who coached Madrid from 2010-13, now coaches Manchester United.

Mourinho, 54, who left Madrid in 2013, faces two counts of tax fraud.

Luis Figo says "nobody is indispensable" in the Real Madrid team - and that includes Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Gestifute, Mourinho "paid more than 26 million euros in taxes, at an average rate above 41 percent and accepted regularisation proposals from the tax authorities in 2015 relating to the years 2011 and 2012, and resolved by agreement his situation for the year 2013".

"He always told me he is at ease in Real Madrid".

The 29-year-old and his father Jorge Horacio Messi were found guilty of using companies in Belize, Britain, Switzerland and Uruguay to avoid paying taxes on 4.16 million euros of Messi's income earned from his image rights from 2007-09.

"The Spanish Government in turn, through the Tax Department, issued a certificate in which it attested that he had regularised his position and was in compliance with all his tax obligations".

Amid reports claiming that Portugal worldwide Cristiano Ronaldo has made up his mind to leave Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer, his compatriot and former Bernabeu star, Luis Figo says "nobody is indispensable" in the club, including Ronaldo. The Portugal forward has strenuously denied the allegations and threatened to quit the country.

Ronaldo's trouble coincided with the same Madrid-based prosecutor's office accusing Mourinho of two counts of tax fraud.

Despite being handed a 16-month sentence, Di Maria will not go to prison as is normal in Spain for first offences for non-violent crimes carrying a sentence of less than two years. It will now be up to a judge to decide whether to take the matter to court.
