Couple gets married among Bills fans in Miami

The Buffalo Bills snapped the longest current non-playoff drought in North American pro sports with a 22-16 victory Sunday over the Miami Dolphins, making the postseason for the first time since 1999.

If the Dolphins needed lessons on how to play spoiler, they apparently should've taken lessons from the Cincinnati Bengals who ruined the Baltimore Ravens' playoff chances.

Miami's dink passing attack gave Landry one of the NFL's most freaky stat lines: 112 receptions to lead the league and break his own franchise record, but an average of 8.8 yards per catch to rank 110th.

The Ravens needed to protect a 27-24 lead, and they - not the Bills - would have been in the playoffs.

The Bengals pulled off a miracle when quarterback Andy Dalton and receiver Tyler Boyd connected on an improbable 49-yard touchdown to put Cinci ahead 31-27 with 44 seconds to play.

The Bills watched the dramatic finish of the Bengals game on locker room TVs, and then erupted.

Buffalo clinched the AFC's sixth and final playoff berth and will travel back to Florida to play South-champion Jacksonville (10-6) in a wild-card playoff Sunday.

With that in mind, let the offseason begin.

Rookie undrafted free agent Cameron Malveaux has been dominant during practice and his hard work during the week manifested itself in a sack against the Bills in the final game of the season.

Both made a meaningful impact on this game. Golden Tate caught seven passes for 104 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown reception. Clay's role was noteworthy in that Tyrod Taylor utilized him quite a bit on underneath routes as the Dolphins corners shadowed the Bills receivers on the boundary. "At the end of the day, I feel like when someone's trying to get over on one of my teammates, I'm always going to be there, no matter what". There was pushing and shoving between the Dolphins and Bills after Landry extended the ball across the goal line. O'Leary also reached a career milestone of sorts with his 322 receiving yards a career high. Bills G John Miller (ankle) missed his seventh straight game. They'll need to figure out if they are a piece away or 25 pieces away.

Drake (above, right), who got an opportunity to become Miami's No. 1 running back following Jay Ajayi getting traded to Philadelphia, will get a second shot at the NFL's 30th-ranked rushing defense. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported after the game that an X-ray on the ankle turned up negative.

A few days later, the Dolphins lost their season finale, the glory days further away than ever.

Even before he got hurt, it was an ineffectual outing for Shady. The team that blew a 28-3 lead in the second half of the big game in February defeated Carolina 22-10 to earn a trip to the NFC West champ Rams.
