Conor McGregor In Talks For WrestleMania Appearance

He last competed in August in a boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather to which he lost by 10th round RKO.

Should McGregor refuse to face the aforementioned Ferguson, the UFC reserves the right to strip him of the Undisputed title.

But it may not be exactly what McGregor has in mind.

Dad-of-one McGregor's appearance in the wrestling ring could rub some WWE stars the wrong way after he called them all "messed up pussies" during the promotion for his UFC 202 fight against Nate Diaz. "But yeah, without a doubt, if he wants to stand and bang with Conor, it'll be lights out fairly quick, I think". "But either or, if Conor fights Ferguson or if he fights Diaz or whoever, you know yourself it's just gonna be an unbelievable experience and I'm looking forward to it". "It's about the pride fight, and this dude's going to be sitting on the sidelines if he doesn't want to fight". With the one year mark approaching since winning the UFC lightweight tile, it will be interesting to see how things play out as Ferguson makes the most sense as an opponent holding the interim title.

Ferguson stated that it isn't about the money in fighting McGregor but more a pride fight.

UFC 216 took place this past Saturday in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena, and in the main event, Ferguson (23-3) submitted Kevin Lee (16-3) in the third round to become the interim 155-pound champ.

"He's good, obviously. He wouldn't be the interim champion if he wasn't good.

You know, there's plenty of holes in there in Ferguson's game and I think we can capitalise and land any shots that we need to land". If Ferguson tries to stand with Conor for an extended period of time it will be lights out, in my opinion.

That possible scrape to the eye might hold Ferguson's training up slightly but not enough to get this unification fight delayed into 2018.

Conor McGregor is allegedly in talks with the WWE to appear at Wrestlemania, according to the Irish Sun. "His entire persona on stage he has developed from watching performers like Ric Flair and The Rock", The Sun reports from an unnamed source. He watched these guys when he was younger.

WrestleMania 34 is next year and WWE always wants to bring new viewers to the fold.

"The WWE guys have asked him to do shows before with them but the timing was never really right". He goes in. He looks to finish fights.
