Christopher Nolan's 'Dunkirk' Teaser Released

Christopher Nolan has been hard at work on his upcoming movie Dunkirk and the first teaser trailer has been released!

Dunkirk has indeed been shot in Dunkirk and it seems it will turn out to be one of the most realistic war films shot ever.

Nolan is the director behind the Dark Knight Batman trilogy and also directed 2014's Interstellar and 2000's Memento.

Heed this, Nolan: I demand to see my Harry in the next trailer and-war movie or not-there better not be a greasy hair harmed on his newly shorn head. The ensemble cast also includes Harry Styles (One Direction) making his feature film debut. It will tell the story of an effort to evacuate more than 300000 allied troops who were surrounded by Nazi troops in the French seaport of Dunkirk. It's pretty intense and we can't wait to see Styles (who unfortunately had to cut his glorious hair for the role).

Perhaps he'll even get that Oscar nomination you just know he covets. Hoyte van Hoytema (Interstellar) serves as cinematographer and Hans Zimmer (he of the Inception "BRAAAHMS") will score the film.

The art of the teaser, let alone a full theatrical trailer, is a hard feat. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in'. Dunkirk begins shooting in May, and will utilize numerous real locations where this true piece of war history happened.

Shot on 65mm large format film and IMAX, Dunkrik will arrive in theaters July 19, 2017.
