Chelsea's Antonio Conte asked about Renato Sanches deal - Rummenigge

Liverpool are now said to have joined the hunt, with claims in Germany outlining Jurgen Klopp wants Sanches if Philippe Coutinho leaves for Barcelona.

Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches has been advised to join AC Milan by his Portugal team-mate Joao Mario, who plays for city rivals Inter.

Sanches played as a substitute in the International Champions Cup games this month against Arsenal, Milan and Inter while also starting against Chelsea.

Chelsea and AC Milan target Renato Sanches is set to meet Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti to seek clarification over his future at the club.

The 19-year-old was linked with a move to Chelsea after Blues boss Antonio Conte reportedly spoke with him following the two sides' pre-season friendly. 'He is young and he wants to play, I understand that.

The Bundesliga giants are open to a loan exit for Sanches as he goes in search of game time to help his development.

Sanches first grabbed the attention of potential suitors at Benfica but it was not until Euro 2016 where the world stood up and noticed the magnitude of his talent.

"It makes no sense to talk about the Serie A title", he said.

"We would send him out on loan for maximum one year because we remain convinced he can become a good and useful Bayern player, but we haven't made a final decision".

The Rossoneri are trying to bring the youngster in on loan this summer with a view to possibly making that move permanent next summer.

He's pointed to Roma dynamo Radja Nainggolan and Napoli captain Marek Hamsik as examples to follow for the upcoming campaign.
