It's still lower than a year ago, when the rate was 8.5 per cent. Employment last reached similar levels in November 2015, when it hit 72.1 per cent. The number of full-time jobs dropped by 100 positions. Jobs classified as business, building and other support services increased by 600. Since then, 1,000 jobs related to the natural resource sector - including forestry, mining, and oil and gas work - have been lost in the region.
