Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is getting Halloween-themed content

A special trailer for the event has also been released. Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision have announced that an event called Halloween Scream has hit the first-person shooter. Those taking part in this scare fest can expect double XP, free Halloween themed goodies, a new zombies mode, the new Carnage map and more.

To receive the free items during Halloween Scream, players need to log into multiplayer between Monday and Friday morning while online and visit the Quartermaster.

The same also takes place on Week 3, this time, with a free Gravestone Accessory becoming available on October 27. The line-up will be refreshed with new bosses from each Zombie episode every week of the event. That means you'll be able to slice up that Slasher in Rave in the Redwoods one week, then slide into the Rat King in Shaolin Shuffle the next, before you make a seafood salad in Attack of the Radioactive Thing and then head to the ultimate battle in The Beast from Beyond.

Players are thrust into wartime leadership as Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations soldier, who takes the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth's last remaining warships.

However, Gesture Warfare will only be available until October 12.

"Gestures aren't just for showing off in the killcam anymore".

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare puts storytelling front and center in a rich, immersive narrative.

Plus, there's a weird new mode called "gesture warfare" so you can crush your opponents with hand movements. The deal is priced at $99.99 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
