Assassin's Creed Odyssey post-launch plans detailed, Assassin's Creed III Remastered confirmed

Season Pass owners will access two major storylines with three episodes each while all players will receive free story missions called The Lost Tales of Greece.

The Legacy of the Blade will center on the story of the iconic weapon that the Kassandra (or Alexios) uses and how it came to be in her possession. It'll be arriving in spring 2019 with episodes releasing roughly six weeks apart.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Cloud Version comes out in Japan for the Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2018.

Jumping straight in, the season pass will be what delivers the amount of content.

Today Ubisoft revealed their post-launch plan for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and it is something to get excited about. Discovery Tour: The educational tool that lets anyone explore the game in a conflict-free environment, will be available for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

The Japanese arm of Nintendo has confirmed that a cloud version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be coming to the Switch. First, there's the inevitable Season Pass. Both remastered games will feature 4K and HDR functionality on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC, higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine, other graphical enhancements and improved gameplay mechanics. All its DLC packs as well as the Assassin's Creed III: Liberation spin-off title is included.

Ubisoft will also be releasing a range of free content for Odyssey outside of the season pass, such as extra quests and a New Game Plus mode that will presumably allow players to replay the story with all the gear and skills they earned on their first playthrough. Ubisoft says it wants to provide "a continual stream of new content to all players, with quests that feature new and familiar characters". Recurring In-Game Events: Each week a new epic ship or mercenary will appear, presenting players with challenging battles as they hunt down these powerful enemies. New Game Plus is also planned, with updates in the pipeline that will add mythical monsters to defeat, new challenges, and the ability to see how your various narrative choices impact the story.

Finally, we talk about The Division 2, which is another game that we got super early access to.
