Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley arrested for drunk driving

University of Arkansas Quarterback Cole Kelley was arrested by Fayetteville Police early Sunday morning (Nov 12) on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and careless driving.

Police reports indicate that Kelley was pulled over around 4 AM after an officer witnessed Kelley driving with his tires on the curb.

Kelley failed the field sobriety tests and declined to provide the sample for a portable breath test. Kelley was arrested after he refused to take a breathalyzer test. Bond for Kelly was set at $935, and records indicate Kelly was released from the Washington County Jail at 11:46 a.m.

Kelley has a court appearance scheduled for December 15.

"I was informed early this morning of an incident involving Cole Kelley".

On Monday, coach Bret Bielema addressed Kelley's arrest, saying the redshirt freshman wouldn't be practicing with the team this week as he awaits a Wednesday court date.

Kevin Layes said, "No disciplinary actions are happening...with Kelly, I mean nothing is going on with him right now...they haven't said anything about him being suspended".

Lastly, Donald Hunter heard about the arrest, "I don't know ..."
