Ariana Grande Stumbles, Laughs While Performing ‘Thank U, Next’ on ‘Ellen’

Ariana Grande has channelled '90s cult classic First Wives Club for the first performance of her headline-making new single, Thank U, Next.

In the past year, Grande has had Top 40 hits including No Tears Left To Cry, Breathin' and God Is A Woman.

The "Sweetner" singer took the stage on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week in her first appearance since breaking off her engagement with "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson and the sudden death of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, from a drug overdose.

"Oh, my god!" Grande shouted as she recovered from the fall, then nearly seamlessly continued performing.

But, just as the song says, Grande knows how to handle the pain.

What we love most about this video is that Ariana could have totally redone the whole thing, but chose not to.

The singer also slipped up a bit at the end when she concluded the performance by running up the stairs through the audience.

Despite the ups and downs of this year, the pop star is moving forward, releasing her new single, "thank u, next," as a tribute to her famous exes, working on a new album, and preparing for a Sweetener tour.

An artist going by the name of Zandhr has put a collection of songs called Nobody Does It Better on several streaming services.

Ariana Grande isn't flawless, but she's so good with that! "He didn't find out about Ariana's song until later, and that didn't change what he said on 'Weekend Update'". "I thought we were supposed to exit". While many initially assumed the outfits were a nod to Grande's would-have-been nuptials with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, the look was actually a reference to a scene in the 1996 film, First Wives Club.
