Apple's September 12 'Gather Round' Event: What To Expect (NASDAQ:AAPL)

Apple has officially set a date for the reveal of its 2018 iPhones: September 12th.

It's now unclear if Apple will save this announcement for later in the year or reveal all alongside its new range of phones. As per the analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could price its 6.1-inch LCD iPhone between $600 (around Rs 42,000) to $700 (roughly Rs 49,000 approx).

In Apple's event invitation, they have used gold colour extensively.

Apple's much-awaited fall product event, where the company will unveil the latest versions of its iPhones, will take place on September 12.

Apple Inc. set September 12 as its most important day of the year when the world's most valuable public company will unveil the next iPhones.

The wholly new iPhone will still be iPhone X inspired by design, but it will come with an LCD screen and be aimed at replacing the iPhone 6 and 5C in the market.

Nearly two years ago Apple introduced the iPhone SE with flagship internals from iPhone 6S and an identical design inherited from iPhone 5S. In this event, the company can launch three new iPhones. The leaks confirmed that the new Apple's new flagship phone will be called the iPhone XS, keeping in line with the usual naming system coined since the iPhone 5S.

The Apple Watch isn't an iPhone-like revenue generator, but is part of the company's growing Other Products segment. The article also said Apple will offer new color options for the iPhone lineup. Another leak shows the Apple Watch Series 4 complete with a larger, near-bezel-free display. That division, which also includes AirPods, the Apple TV, HomePod, Beats headphones, and iPad accessories, generated a $3.7 billion in revenue last quarter. Kuo further predicts that the 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch iPhone models could come in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants depending on the regions.
